المأثورات : هي مجموعة من الأقوال التي نكررها صباحاً ومساءً، لنيل رضا الله تعالى والتقرب منه، استناداً لقول النبي عليه السلام في حديثه الشريف: ( أنا عند ظن عبدي بي وأنا معه إذا ذكرني، فإن ذكرني في نفسه ذكرته في نفسي، وإن ذكرني في ملأ ذكرته في ملأ خير منهمُّ ) وهي للمسلمين عامة ، لعل فيها إعانة لهم على طاعة الله تبارك وتعالى .. وهى تقرأ صباحا من " الفجر إلى الظهر " ، ومساء من " العصر إلى ما بعد العشاء " فرادى وجماعة ، ومؤلفها الإمام الشهيد حسن البنـَّــا
